No retaliation

My professor embarrassd me in front of the class today. He revealed that I ignored him after he failed me.

Well it's true. That was about two years ago already. It's been a year since I started talking to him again.

Well no more retaliation from me this time. I'm too old for that.

Journey's ended

Journey's ended

This week is our last chance to finish our thesis. If we unfortunately fail to do so, another extra term will be served to us.

A fresh start

Bonifacio Global City

It's the start of the new school year. We haven't even noticed, as I spent most days in school anyway. Prices at Agno Street, where meals are usually cheaper than proper restaurants, have gone up. By at least 10 pesos. Now that's a lot.

I guess it's sayonara to my usual afternoon snack - Jamaican patties.

Rejuvenate

IMG_3704

Our Boracay trip was not exactly spent sunbathing or reading books. But it was a welcome respite from my hectic life here in the city.

But now, a week after the trip, I must snap back to reality and focus on matters that are important. Thesis thesis thesis and thesis.

Rage

Burger King, Mall of Asia
I really feel the need to beat the hell out of this person. No, I don't know him but I have talked, err exchanged messages, with him.

Selfish asshole.

In related news, I could feel that our thesis adviser is exasperated with our group. The pressure is building up, definitely. This thesis is slowly turning from alright to bad.

No, I'm not graduating at the end of the term

I hope I did not forget to enroll some subjects next term - my last academic term (I still have a full term left for my OJT though). If I did, I'm doomed.

ADD

Bare

I pity our professors for my friends and I have the attention span of five year olds. If they start to talk continuously for three minutes, we start to babble ourselves. In a way it is their fault though - a few special professors do get our attention and keep us entertained.

Progress

On my way here to Robinson's Manila, I realized that the vendors along the sidewalks were gone. Kudos to whomever the credit is due (I'm guessing Mayor Lim). Progress indeed.

Just this morning, we started working on our thesis with the help of our thesis adviser. And he said it again! "This is gonna be easy. That's it and you'll be done with your thesis!" I'll pray that his words will come true. Good thing we're getting some progress.

Morning news

I'm minutes away from my useless LEAP. If we were not doing something for our thesis later, I would've seriously considered not going to school.

Anyway, while on my daily commute, this morning program reminded me that Valentines Day, or Singles Awareness Day as I have been calling it for 21 years now, is just two days away. Am I that disconnected from the world?

Also on the morning news, Jun Lozada is crying. Again.

Oh God.

Not me

My graduation photos have arrived. (FYI, I'm not graduating til January 2009). They are horrible.

Who is that dermatologist-addicted gay in those pictures? They must've given me his photos.

To my friends, I'm sorry. But I'm not giving away my graduation pictures this time.

Lappy toppy

I told my parents that I needed a laptop.

No, I am not the spoiled brat kind. In fact, I hate asking my parents to buy me things. I bought my own iPod and digital camera. I hate asking them to shell out money. I used to say I'll never buy a laptop because I don't need it.

But now I really do. We need to start working on our thesis. We're already way behind our schedule. We would really hate to have to enroll for another term just to finish our thesis. Oh God please no.

Interference

Bare

My current obsession with amateur photography is interfering with my studies. Something has to give.
